The scheme is aimed at 18-24 year olds who are unemployed and claiming Universal Credit. Via a combination of classroom teaching and on-the-job training, it equips candidates with essential skills to relaunch their careers.
To help candidates to get the most out of the scheme, we’ve launched The Academy, a specialist training facility at our Washington headquarters. Staffed by industry experts and equipped to accommodate 20 trainees, The Academy will provide the ideal starting point for those without industry experience.
The training process will begin with six weeks of teaching, starting with general job skills and progressing into topics specific to the energy industry. Once confident, our Kickstart candidates will move on to the next stage – four months of on-the-job training.
Our Kickstarters will be paid throughout their training, and once they’ve graduated, will have the chance to earn life-changing commission. This enables trainees to gain a completely new specialism while earning.
In order to qualify for the Kickstart Scheme at Tritility, candidates must be aged between 18 and 24, unemployed and claiming Universal Credit. No experience is necessary to take part, as we’ll be providing full and comprehensive training. A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to succeed in a sales environment is all that’s needed.
The scheme might be of particular interest to those who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, those who have recently left education, or those who have been discharged from the armed forces. But anyone who is keen to get back to work after a period of absence is encouraged to apply.
